Active noise cancellation is only half of a good pair of headphones. The other half is what happens when the noise is gone, and that is a 40 mm dynamic driver here, tuned for clear mids and bass that stays under control rather than swamping everything.

ANC is quoted at roughly 30 dB, plus or minus 3 dB, and you can switch between noise reduction and music modes depending on whether you want quiet or detail. The microphone has anti-wind processing, which is the difference between a usable call on a breezy street and one you have to repeat yourself through. Bluetooth 5.3 connects to phones, tablets and laptops, with on-device controls for playback, calls and ANC.

The 500 mAh battery runs up to 55 hours of music, or around 45 hours with ANC on. Ten minutes of charging gives two hours at moderate volume and a full charge takes about 2.5 hours. A retractable headband and folding ear caps make them easy to pack.
