The charger in the drawer is usually the wrong one. Either it is too slow for a current phone or it has the wrong port for the cable you kept. This Acefast plug covers both, a USB-C port rated at 30W and a USB-A port at 18W in one 3-Pin UK body.

The USB-C side supports Power Delivery, Quick Charge, AFC and FCP, which covers recent iPhones, Samsung handsets and most USB-C phones at their proper fast charge speed. The USB-A port takes QC, FCP and AFC for the cables already in the house. Use both at once and the pair share an output of 5V/3A, so think of it as one fast charge and one steady top up rather than two quick charges.

GaN keeps it compact and cooler than older chargers of the same power, and at 66g in a 74 x 48 x 43.7mm shell it is a fair size for a bag. Certified to UKCA and CB standards.
