Most car chargers are hollow plastic that get hot and wobble in the socket. This one is 46.6 mm long, 24 g, and housed in zinc alloy, which does a far better job of moving heat away from the electronics so output stays stable on a long drive.

Either port can deliver up to 30W on its own. USB-C covers PD, QC, FCP and AFC, and USB-A covers QC, FCP and AFC, so between them they suit phones, tablets, handheld consoles and USB-C laptops that accept a 30W input. Used at the same time, the two ports share a combined 5V and 3A, which is enough to keep a driver and a passenger topped up.

The internals sit behind fireproof PC components, and the adapter is certified to FCC, PSE, METI, UKCA, CE, RoHS, EAC and ERP6, with a UL2089 test report behind it. That last one is specific to vehicle power adapters.
