iTechU offers repair and resale services for a wide range of technology devices, including but not limited to smartphones, tablets, iPhones, iPads, laptops, PCs, and game consoles. We also specialize in board-level micro soldering and offer original and refurbished parts for repairs.
3. Device Repairs
- Assessment and Quotes: Upon receiving your device, we will assess the issue and provide you with a quote for the repair. This quote is an estimate and may change if further issues are discovered during the repair process. We will notify you of any changes before proceeding.
- Repair Time: While we strive to complete repairs as quickly as possible, repair times may vary depending on the complexity of the issue and availability of parts.
- Warranty: We offer a warranty on our repair services, covering parts and labor. The warranty period will be specified at the time of repair and covers defects that arise from the repair work. The warranty does not cover any subsequent damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unauthorized repairs.
4. Parts
- Original and Refurbished Parts: We offer a choice between original parts and high-quality refurbished parts. The choice will be made clear to you at the time of repair, and we will use the parts you select.
- Parts Warranty: All parts come with a warranty period, which will be communicated to you at the time of repair. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship but does not cover damage due to misuse or subsequent accidents.
5. Data and Privacy
- Data Backup: We strongly recommend that you back up all data on your device before submitting it for repair. iTechU is not responsible for any data loss that may occur during the repair process.

6. Payments
- Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of the repair unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept various payment methods, including cash, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers.
- Non-Payment: If payment is not received within the agreed timeframe, iTechU reserves the right to retain the device until full payment is made.
7. Liability
- Repair Risks: While we take every precaution to avoid further damage during repairs, some repairs carry inherent risks, especially in the case of complex issues or older devices. iTechU is not responsible for any additional damage that may occur during the repair process unless it is due to our negligence.
- Limitations of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, iTechU will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the services provided.
8. Business-to-Business Services
- Bulk Sales and Trades: iTechU offers bulk buying and selling services for businesses. Terms for these transactions will be agreed upon separately and are subject to these Terms unless otherwise specified.
- Secure Data Removal: We offer secure data removal services for bulk devices, with certificates provided to ensure that all data has been permanently deleted.
9. Customer Responsibilities
- Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate and complete information when submitting a device for repair or making a purchase.
- Compliance with Laws: You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using our services.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
