Welcome to iTechU. By booking, authorising repairs, purchasing products, or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services and transactions provided by iTech Prestige Limited T/A iTechU, located at:

We may update these Terms periodically. Updated Terms take effect once published on our website or provided at point of service.
All services are carried out in accordance with UK law.
Nothing within these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable legislation.
iTechU provides repair, refurbishment, resale, diagnostics, and maintenance services for electronic devices including but not limited to:

Customers may choose between OEM or high-quality refurbished parts where available and agreed.
All quotations are estimates based on visible or reported faults during initial inspection.
Additional faults discovered during repair may require revised pricing. Customers will be contacted for approval before further work proceeds.
Repair times vary depending on:
Estimated completion times are not guaranteed.
Full device testing requires passcodes or account access.
If access is not provided:
Authorising repair without providing access confirms acceptance of limited testing.
Electronic repairs involve inherent risk. Pre-existing or hidden faults may become apparent during or after repair, particularly on devices with prior damage, liquid exposure, or previous repairs.
By authorising repair, the customer acknowledges and accepts this risk.
Any repair involving opening a device may affect manufacturer water or dust resistance.
iTechU cannot guarantee water resistance after repair.
Warranty begins when the device is collected or returned.

Warranty seals and verification labels may be fitted internally or externally.
If seals are removed, damaged, or tampered with, warranty is immediately void.
All warranty claims require inspection.
Customers may choose between OEM and refurbished parts where offered.
Performance or longevity differences based on part choice are accepted by the customer at time of repair.
Parts warranty matches repair warranty duration and covers manufacturing or installation faults only.
Customers are responsible for backing up all data before repair.
iTechU accepts no liability for data loss or corruption.
Some repairs may require firmware updates or software restoration which may erase data.
All data handling complies with:
Any data accessed is used only for service completion.
Uncollected or abandoned devices will be securely wiped before resale or disposal using industry-standard secure methods.
Once erased, data cannot be recovered and iTechU holds no liability.
Full payment is required upon completion unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Devices are released only after cleared payment.
Accepted methods:
Devices left beyond 30 days may incur reasonable storage fees.
Devices unpaid or uncollected after 90 days are considered abandoned.
iTechU will attempt contact via phone, email, or text.
After 90 days:
All data will be securely erased beforehand.
Certain repairs (including liquid damage and micro-soldering) carry higher technical risk.
iTechU is not responsible for hidden or pre-existing faults unless caused by proven negligence.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

Three-pass overwrite processes are used where required, compliant with:
Certificates of Secure Data Destruction available on request.
All business devices are logged and tracked. Records retained for 12 months.
All disposals follow UK WEEE Regulations and licensed recycling practices.
iTechU maintains strict confidentiality and will sign NDAs when required.
Customers must:
Failure to comply may result in refusal of service or reporting to authorities where appropriate.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
